Our pencil black and white portraits are one of Bobbys Drawings best value drawing styles. It offers a classic look and is a great option for many gift-giving occasions.

A super popular use for our black and white portraits is to bring together family members where elderly relatives may have passed away. They are particularly fitting when we are drawing from old black and white photos, although if you would prefer to have a black and white photo drawn in color we can do that on our color portrait option.

Over the years, customers have ordered this drawing style for anniversaries, Christmas presents, mothers and fathers day, birthdays and any other occasions you can think of. These drawings have received excellent reviews from our customers, some of which can be seen below.

“Thank you for our picture. It turned out way better than we could’ve imagined. Now our little girl will have a picture with her grandparents. My husband was over the moon!” – Stephanie Schlaugat

Black & White portrait by Bobby's Drawings - customer photo and review 1

“My dad courageously fought stage V kidney cancer for four years, I was able to tell him I was pregnant after 7 years of infertility..and tell him we were naming our son after him before he passed on 12/31/2018. I cried many nights to my husband, that my dad never got to hold our son, or to have a relationship with him, like he did our daughter.
Our son was diagnosed with blood cancer (leukemia) 11/19/19, after my husband had already picked out my Christmas gift. I had no idea what it was.
Christmas Day, he brought me my gift in the hospital…My dad never got to hold my baby boy, but this picture absolutely makes me feel like he is. I sobbed, it is 100% perfect.
Both my dad, and our son, pre-diagnosis, and he’s holding both of our children. I couldn’t be more thankful.” – Tricia Swafford
